




Description: You must have: * Completed technical education or completed/ongoing higher education in mechanical engineering, process engineering, production engineering, or related fields. * Knowledge of machining processes. * Education or experience in operating, setting up, and programming lathes and machining centers. * CAM programming. * Experience with HyperMILL and EdgeCAM is a plus. * Metrology training and measurement devices. * Training in reading and interpreting technical drawings. * Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Organization. * Critical thinking. * Attention to processes. * Continuous improvement. In this position, you will: * Identify opportunities for improvement in the manufacturing process and implement them after confirming technical and economic feasibility. * Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate the process before and after improvements. * Collect data and inform the estimator to prepare an economic feasibility study. * Develop practical tests to validate process improvements. * Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) to ensure process stability. * Serve as the interface between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality during product or process development or modification. * Modify, improve, and maintain process documentation, ensuring alignment with the manufacturing process. * Ensure communication with the Engineering contact responsible for updating the product routing and structure. * Follow current procedures for process and product changes. * Analyze the integrity of machining fixtures after use and before storage. * Request repairs for fixtures from the toolroom when required, identified after use and before storage. * Request improvements to machining fixtures from the designer and participate in such initiatives. * Participate in the evaluation and approval of new fixture designs together with the designer. * Conduct try-outs and pilot runs in manufacturing processes. * Implement setup improvements to minimize setup time. * Maintain 5S in your area of responsibility. 2512190202551927139
