Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and inventory control **Responsibilities – Butcher Assistant** * Provide customer service and support in selecting meats, cuts, and quantities. * Cut meats according to customer requests. * Package, weigh, and label products correctly. * Restock and organize the meat counter, ensuring attractive presentation and proper product preservation. * Check expiration dates, quality, and storage conditions of meats. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the department, equipment, and utensils per health regulations. * Assist with receiving, verifying, and storing goods. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly. * Support inventory control and loss reduction. * Follow company-defined service and quality standards.
