




Job Summary: The professional will control waste weighing, examine specifications, prepare manifests, and maintain contact with teams to ensure proper management and disposal. Key Highlights: 1. Interaction with customers and official agencies Perform and control weighing of incoming or outgoing waste using electronic scales and computerized systems, paying attention to applicable documentation and movement of transport vehicles, aiming to record data and measurements for billing purposes. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Examine incoming waste specifications, entering relevant data—such as weight, type, generating company—into the appropriate system, verifying or confirming data and generating protocols, tickets, etc., to enable authorization for entry, exit, and control of waste destined for designated landfills (industrial or sanitary); * Prepare manifests for leachate and other waste movements, based on standardized information, aiming at treatment by partner or outsourced companies; * Maintain contact with production or commercial staff to clarify doubts regarding waste descriptions or specifications, transport companies, customers, registrations, etc., or with landfill unloading teams to exchange operational information; * Conduct traceability of operations or service data upon request, consulting the internal system to clarify possible discrepancies or locate deposited waste; * Maintain contact with customers and representatives of official agencies (e.g., City Hall, FEEMA) to provide or obtain routine information of interest; * Receive bulk materials or consumables/maintenance supplies (e.g., gravel, sand), following received instructions, checking fiscal documents, performing weighings and records, and maintaining necessary controls to ensure proper receipt of such items by the company; * Organize and maintain document archives (manifests, invoices, etc.), arranging them appropriately for distribution to competent internal departments; * Issue transit invoices, manifests, and transport waybills, ensuring correct completion of documents and adherence to routine procedures, contributing to external waste movement; * Generate standardized reports based on data stored in the system for control purposes or submission to environmental agencies; * Record non-standard occurrences and promptly forward them to supervisors for appropriate action; * Perform scale opening and closing, observing routine procedures, monitoring and reporting any operational issues, contributing to accurate weighing operations; * Receive official inspectors and auditors, acting per supervisor’s guidance and providing requested information—including scale calibration validity, permits, and other standard requirements—to meet required needs; **Requirements and Qualifications** * High school diploma. * Proficiency in computer use at user level.
