Porto do Meio is a new port terminal under development in Itaguaí (RJ), designed to expand Brazil's logistics capacity and modernize mineral transportation with efficiency, predictability, and environmental responsibility.
With an estimated investment of BRL 3.5 billion and operations scheduled to begin in 2029, the terminal will be integrated with the Serra Azul Railway Branch and the Southeast Regional Rail Network, forming a strategic corridor for small and medium-sized mining companies in the Iron Quadrangle.
Designed according to international standards of safety and sustainability, the project combines innovation, operational stability, and commitment to regional development. Up to 3,000 jobs will be prioritized for workers from Itaguaí and Mangaratiba, alongside stimulation of local economies and expansion of the country’s export alternatives.
From technologies that reduce underwater noise to restoration of areas used during construction, Porto do Meio is being developed with a robust and transparent environmental plan focused on preserving Sepetiba Bay and strengthening surrounding communities.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Support the implementation of corporate-community relationship strategies.
* Serve as the initial point of contact for community requests, questions, and inquiries.
* Record, monitor, and address community feedback (complaints, suggestions, and compliments).
* Organize and support community meetings, site visits, and events.
* Assist institutional communication initiatives directed at the community.
* Maintain up-to-date records of community leaders and local stakeholders.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:**
* Completed high school (a bachelor’s degree in progress or completed in Social Work, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields is desirable).
**Experience:**
* Prior experience in customer service, community relations, or social areas is a plus.
* Experience in social projects, NGOs, or companies operating within communities is desirable.
