Collaboration in continuous process improvement **About the position:** The professional will operate machine tools, primarily mechanical lathes. Proven experience in this field and technical proficiency in precision part machining, following quality and safety standards, are essential. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education plus a professional qualification course (minimum 400 hours), preferably from SENAI or a technical course in mechanics. * Minimum 5 years of experience in this role. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional control. * Preferred: Experience with CNC lathes, especially the ROMI Centur 30D model. * Desirable: Familiarity with other machine tools (milling machines, planers, and drilling machines). **Responsibilities:** * Operate mechanical lathes with precision and safety. * Perform necessary adjustments and calibrations on machines. * Verify and ensure part finishes comply with technical specifications. * Maintain production records and operational reports. * Actively participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). * Strictly adhere to safety, hygiene, and quality standards. * Collaborate with the team on continuous improvement of production processes.
