**Accountant – Taxation Specialist** **Job Description / Responsibilities:** The professional will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing accounting and tax-related activities, ensuring tax compliance and the strategic utilization of tax regimes, tax credits, and tax incentives. The professional will act in an advisory capacity to the executive board and finance department, directly contributing to the group’s tax efficiency and mitigation of tax risks. Education / Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences; * Active CRC (Regional Council of Accounting); * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Tax Management, Controllership, Finance, or Tax Planning is considered a plus; * Solid experience in accounting and taxation, with proven track record in medium- and large-sized enterprises; * Proficiency in federal, state, and municipal tax legislation, including IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, COFINS, ISS, and ICMS; * Strong knowledge of tax planning, special tax regimes, and recovery of tax credits; * Experience conducting tax regime classification simulations (Real Profit, Presumed Profit, and Simples Nacional); * Experience with SPED Accounting, SPED Fiscal, ECF, ECD, DCTF, and other ancillary obligations; * Experience in internal and external audits, as well as integration with Compliance and Controllership departments is desirable.
