Supervise operational activities, controlling process, product, and service losses by identifying, determining, and analyzing loss causes, establishing preventive and corrective action plans, developing, testing, and supervising productive systems, processes, and methods, managing occupational health and safety and environmental activities, worker exposure to occupational risk factors, planning productive projects and activities, and coordinating teams, training, and work activities. **Responsibilities and duties** Position: Operations * Assign waste reception teams, verifying waste types and disposal conditions according to instructions from immediate supervisor, to initiate operations; * Guide teams in loading, sorting, and unloading waste, either raw or processed, onto transport vehicles, ensuring proper leachate and gas drainage procedures and other relevant requirements, providing instructions to internal and outsourced personnel, ensuring safety conditions and proper use of PPE, enabling adequate handling of liquid, solid, and gaseous waste to and from landfills, processing, or treatment sites; * Conduct and/or perform waste separation, sorting, treatment, leachate management, material movement, landfilling, drainage, sedimentation, measurement, burning, mixing, grinding, and other industrial waste operations, adhering to and enforcing QMS procedures to ensure compliance with scheduled processes. * Plan daily work fronts, allocating equipment and labor resources for each task; * Participate in developing operational advancement plans with external consulting firms; * Instruct teams on zeroing out using own and third-party machinery and equipment; * Carry out stormwater drainage, gutters, water runoff channels, and grass planting as per project specifications provided by the supervisor; * Implement operational expansion projects as specified by the supervisor; * Supervise machine operators and operational assistants. * Comply with policies, procedures, and standards established by the specific management system, using preventive equipment, observing regulatory norms and procedures, reporting deviations, and proposing corrections for unsafe acts, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of regulatory, legal, and QMS requirements. * Participate in internal events, campaigns, and SGI-related training. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree preferred or in progress in Engineering, Business Administration, Production Management, or related fields. * Advanced Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). * Planning and organizational skills, discernment, agility, and strong interpersonal abilities.
