Maintain an organized kitchen, ensuring all utensils, ingredients, and equipment are readily available to cooks when needed. Wash and sanitize vegetables, peel vegetables, slice, cut, or grind meats. Ensure quality and efficiency throughout the process to satisfy customers. Observe safety practices when handling utensils and equipment. Maintain organization in product and cleaning supply storage areas. Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Food Preparer, or Restaurant Assistant may indicate suitability for some of the tasks associated with this position. High school diploma required.
