Job Summary:
An occupational safety professional responsible for hazard identification, safety program implementation, training, PPE control, and support for legal and administrative processes.

**1\. Hazard Identification and Analysis**
* Conducts periodic **safety inspections** across all company areas.
* Identifies **unsafe conditions and acts**, proposing corrective and preventive measures.
* Evaluates the workplace for **physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and accident-related hazards**, in accordance with NR-9 (PPRA/PGR).
* Participates in **accident and near-miss investigations**, preparing reports and action plans.
**2\. Implementation of Safety Programs**
* Collaborates in the **development, implementation, and monitoring** of mandatory programs:
* PGR – Risk Management Program;
* PCMSO – Occupational Health Surveillance Program;
* LTCAT – Technical Report on Environmental Working Conditions;
* AET – Ergonomic Work Analysis;
* Emergency Plan and Evacuation Plan.
* Maintains up-to-date **occupational safety and health documentation**, complying with NR-1 and NR-4 requirements.
**3\. Training and Educational Campaigns**
* Plans and delivers **mandatory and awareness training** (specific NRs, onboarding, PPE use, defensive driving, fire fighting, etc.).
* Promotes **preventive campaigns**: SIPAT, proper PPE usage, accident prevention, mental health, among others.
* Controls **training records and certificates**.
**4\. PPE Control and Distribution**
* Ensures all workers receive and use appropriate **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)** for their roles, per NR-6.
* Maintains control of signed and archived **PPE Record Forms**.
* Assesses PPE effectiveness and usage conditions.
**5\. Support for Legal and Administrative Processes**
* Supports **inspections** by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), Fire Department, Labor Public Prosecutor’s Office, and internal or external audits.
* Provides support for **issuance and renewal of certificates** (AVCB, LTCAT, mandatory courses, etc.).
* Assists in labor expert assessments and prepares **technical safety opinions**.
**6\. Indicator Management and Monitoring**
* Prepares **monthly accident reports and statistics**, analyzing root causes and proposing solutions.
* Updates **risk maps** and safety performance indicators (frequency rate, severity rate, incidents).
* Assists in **developing the SESMT strategic plan**, including goals and action plans.
**7\. Additional Responsibilities**
* Participates in **internal safety audits**.
* Monitors **testing and inspection of emergency equipment** (fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms).
* Supports **evacuation plans, drills, and emergency response** (NR-23).
