Transmission Maintenance Operator II - Medeiros Neto/BA
We are looking for a **Transmission Maintenance Operator II**, to perform local operation maneuvers under coordination with the remote operations team, isolate transmission systems and equipment, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities, monitor operations via telecontrol, observe potential operational anomalies on screen, and perform appropriate reporting and actions. Conduct tests and trials — proficiency in handling electrical testing instruments.

**Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities:**
* Perform inspections, functional tests, and technical trials on Supervision, Protection, Control, and Telecommunication (SPCT) systems, as well as on other substation systems and equipment.
* Monitor and supervise any third-party maintenance services performed at substations, controlling and performing measurements per contractual terms to ensure compliance with technical specifications, standards, and defined timelines.
* Support the preparation of periodic technical reports on maintenance activities, documenting and evaluating identified anomalies, recommending corrective and preventive measures, and tracking interventions and respective outcomes via the Maintenance Management System.
* Participate in implementing cybersecurity actions at the operational level for industrial assets, aiming to comply with EBE’s Industrial Control Systems Security Policy.
* Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on protection, transmission, and telecommunications equipment and systems, as well as calibration, electronic maintenance, and special tests on critical-level equipment, in accordance with the Maintenance Plan and unplanned interventions, recording all activities in the Maintenance Management System.
* Carry out operational activities both outdoors and in the control room, following the operational procedure and maintaining constant contact with the telecontrol area. Operate, when required, electrical and electromechanical installations at transmission assets’ substations.
* Monitor urgent and emergency responses for equipment and systems until full restoration, as well as switching operations conducted at substations during preventive and/or corrective maintenance.

* Ensure all services are executed in compliance with technical specifications, standards, and defined deadlines.
* Participate in evaluating maintenance methodologies, philosophies, and procedures, seeking best practices and technological innovations to ensure updating, standardization, and uniformity of equipment within the scope of responsibility.
* Provide input for developing and updating the Multi-Year Plan (PPA), also reporting requirements to support budget proposals and investment planning for facilities.
* Ensure fieldwork complies with established procedural parameters. Directly contribute to reviewing or creating internal procedures and work instructions, ensuring teams fully understand and implement these actions.
* Conduct periodic inspections of substation equipment and systems to identify and prevent failures, and perform corrective maintenance when failures occur in systems or equipment, including diagnostics and repairs. Carry out tests and electrical parameter measurements to ensure operational standards are met.
* Respond swiftly to emergency situations, performing rapid switching operations and interventions to prevent further damage and restore power supply.
* Participate in failure response and adverse situation management, collaborating closely with support teams.
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations, safeguarding personnel’s physical integrity and safety.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Prerequisites:**
* Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields, with active CFT (Technical Certification).
* Knowledge of facility equipment and systems, with experience in substation equipment switching operations.
* Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and applicable regulations.
* Knowledge of integrated management systems.
* Maintenance management tools and software, and technical documentation systems.
* Ability to read and interpret equipment technical manuals, technical drawings, and flowcharts.
* Knowledge of transmission-related processes and associated equipment and systems.
* Maintenance and operation procedures, plans, methods, and techniques.
* Computer literacy: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, and email.
Various administrative processes and routines relevant to the area of expertise.
