Develop cost compositions and negotiate with suppliers An engineering and construction management company in Mauá is seeking a Budget Engineer. **Responsibilities:** Prepare civil construction and building installation budgets. Conduct quantitative surveys based on designs, descriptive memoranda, and technical scopes. Analyze civil, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, HVAC, fire prevention and suppression, and other complementary discipline designs. Develop direct and indirect cost compositions, considering BDI, social charges, and labor laws. Obtain quotations from suppliers and contractors, negotiating delivery timelines and commercial terms. Balance technical and commercial proposals. Support risk analysis, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial conditions of budgets. Prepare budget spreadsheets, technical proposals, and commercial proposals. Maintain an updated price database aligned with market practices and values. Previous experience as a Cost Engineer, Budget Analyst, Budget Planning Specialist, or Project Engineer may indicate alignment with some responsibilities of this position. Bachelor's degree required.
