Management of the maintenance team, leading technicians and mechanics by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting training. Planning and execution of maintenance activities, defining and tracking preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules to avoid unexpected downtime. KPI management: monitoring OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), maintenance costs, and spare parts consumption. Safety and compliance: ensuring all work adheres to occupational safety regulations and food industry requirements (Good Manufacturing Practices and hygiene standards). **Input and budget control:** managing inventory of spare parts, materials, and supplies, as well as controlling the department’s budget. Operational support: collaborating closely with production to ensure equipment availability and reliability. Continuous improvement projects: proposing and implementing solutions to extend machinery lifespan, reduce costs, and optimize processes. **Supplier relationship management:** negotiating service contracts for outsourced work, purchasing spare parts, and obtaining technical support.
