You will be hired under full-time CLT terms for fully remote work—even after the pandemic ends. The company was founded 13 years ago as a startup and now employs approximately 240 people, including 25 directly technical staff—not counting business, product, and related teams. Growth remains strong due to its leadership in the e-commerce beauty products segment, which continues thriving despite economic downturns. Whether you're just starting your career or already experienced, you’ll have the opportunity to: * Design and evolve a modern backend built on Java SE 11 or 14, Kotlin, and Groovy, comprising over 50 microservices and RESTful APIs—applying best practices and exploring new ways to handle tens of millions of daily requests; * Work with technologies such as Spring Boot, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Redshift, RabbitMQ, Spark, and Elasticsearch, among others; * Learn continuously and tackle new challenges every day! **Why you should apply for this position:** * Work at a technology-driven company unafraid to experiment—and one that supports your growth in the area you’re most passionate about, such as search optimization, recommendation systems, Big Data, etc.; * Help shape emerging squads evolving to meet growing business demands at a company recognized by Oracle as one of Latin America’s most innovative e-commerce platforms—with nearly two hundred JVMs supporting operations; * You’ll be hired under CLT terms (with salary ranging from R$ 4\.000 to R$ 16\.000 depending on evaluation), plus health and dental insurance, life insurance, meal allowance, food allowance, and an annual bonus of 2–4.5 months’ salary, depending on your base salary and performance; REQUIREMENTS * Team-oriented mindset, commitment, and hands-on attitude; * Ability to quickly learn emerging technologies through English-language resources—including books, technical documentation, videos, or talks; * Strong object-oriented programming skills and mastery of Java SE 11 and its core APIs (java.lang, Collections, streams, etc); **Some desirable qualifications include:** * Proficiency in Java SE 14 and later versions; * Expertise in RESTful architectures and APIs built with the Spring platform; * In-depth applied knowledge of messaging systems; * Practical experience scaling services to handle hundreds of millions of requests per day; * Experience with diverse data persistence and caching solutions; * Knowledge of security principles; * Familiarity with cloud platforms, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation in general.
