Job Summary: A Crane Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to handle loads while ensuring equipment maintenance and preservation. Key Highlights: 1. Coordinate with the team to guarantee safe and effective operations. A Crane Operator is responsible for operating cranes to move loads in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures. This professional must possess experience in crane operation and technical knowledge to perform tasks efficiently and safely. * Operate cranes to move loads according to instructions received; * Check crane operating conditions before commencing operations; * Follow established safety regulations for crane operation; * Report any irregularities or issues identified during crane operation to the supervisor; * Assist in crane assembly and disassembly when required; * Ensure crane and accessory preservation and maintenance; * Meet established targets and deadlines for cargo handling; * Collaborate with the work team to ensure smooth operations; * Operate cranes (mobile cranes, truck-mounted cranes, etc.) for lifting, moving, and positioning metal components, equipment, and various materials; * Perform daily equipment inspection (checklist), verifying operating conditions, safety, and maintenance status; * Coordinate\-with the signalman and assembly team to ensure safe and efficient execution of operations; * Follow the rigging plan and adhere to technical instructions for each type of load. * Maintain the crane logbook updated with usage hours, maintenance records, and incidents. * Ensure equipment stability by using appropriate outriggers and counterweights.
