Participates in ongoing meetings and training sessions ###### **São Paulo, SP****The company accepts applications from São Paulo and nearby cities** ###### **Assistant/** **Operational** ###### **To be determined** ###### **CLT Employment Regime** **Job Details** -------------------- **Requirements:** --------------- * Education: Nursing Assistant course * Active COREN registration; * Experience with specimen collection **Responsibilities:** --------------- "Perform double-check of patient identification (full name and date of birth) and medical order, verifying label data and identifying tubes/vials with identification wristbands and medical orders; Perform venipuncture for blood collection using peripheral venous access devices such as needles, scalpels, or IV catheters; Collect various types of secretions; Prioritize specimen collection for patients under managed protocols; Supply specimen collection materials to clinical units; Provide instructions to patients/attendants/nursing staff regarding specimen collection procedures and required tests; Perform repeat collections when necessary; Document nursing procedures performed for specimen collection in patient records; Send collected specimens to the technical area via pneumatic tube system or thermal container; Perform concurrent and terminal cleaning of mattresses, cabinets and support tables, countertops, specimen collection carts, and work areas, as per standardized protocols; Monitor expiration dates and integrity of materials/solutions used in collections; Assist the nurse in controlling inventory of materials (quantity, batch number, and expiration date); Carry out daily work shift scheduling; Report any incidents to the laboratory nurse/supervisor; Notify non-conforming procedures in the institutional system; Conduct shift handover; Participate in meetings and training sessions.
