Welcoming and dynamic work environment The professional will perform various activities within the Water and Wastewater Treatment Projects Department (EPT), including technological solutions and beneficial use of sludge and biogas in station operations, circular economy projects, and coordination to meet operational area demands, new business opportunities, and sustainability goals. \*\*\* Sabesp (Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo) is responsible for water supply and sewage collection and treatment in 377 municipalities across São Paulo State, serving 28 million people. **It is one of the world's largest environmental sanitation companies and the largest in Brazil.** The Company will advance five decades in five years, expanding access to drinking water and basic sanitation for millions of people. With infrastructure designed to support and empower our teams, the Company reinforces its commitment to this transformative journey. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage and supervise water and wastewater treatment projects and technical studies; * Prepare and manage procurement related to departmental projects; * Provide technical support for strategic studies on water supply/sewage disposal; * Manage technical studies for technology selection; * Analyze and review projects, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and operational feasibility; * Support the department in monitoring and critically analyzing project planning (physical and financial); * Support the department in tracking deadlines, costs, schedules, indicators, and contractual targets; * Apply Project Management practices to structure, monitor, and ensure project delivery; * Manage projects using BIM methodology; * Support and advise engineering departments on technology implementation issues, meeting technical and environmental requirements; * Visit treatment plants to monitor project implementation; * Interact and collaborate with other Company departments to streamline processes and support project implementation; provide the department with strategic information for decision-making; * Monitor construction and service contracts, ensuring technical compliance, proposal alignment, and operation/construction interface; * Supervise contractor and supplier work teams. * Over 10 years of experience in water and wastewater, sludge, and biogas treatment solutions, with emphasis on circular economy and sustainability projects, and studies for defining technological pathways—including treatment process aspects, technology selection, and technical-economic and environmental feasibility studies. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Sanitary, and/or Environmental Engineering, registered with the regional engineering council (CREA). * Foreign language: minimum proficiency in English. * In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment solutions, with emphasis on treatment processes and circular economy, and greenhouse gas emission minimization. * Project Management and Administration. * Proficiency in SIGNOS — Sabesp (Georeferenced Information System for Sanitation). * BIM methodology. * Advanced knowledge of design and project software (AutoCAD / InfraWorks). * Microsoft Office suite. * Technical standards, legislation, and technical specifications applicable to the sanitation sector. * Data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar. **Skills:** * Communication * Negotiation * Analytical ability and strategic vision * Critical and integrated reasoning * Problem-solving * Teamwork **Preferred Qualifications** * Technical knowledge of wastewater treatment plant modeling tools BioWin and/or SUMO. **Additional Information** * Medical Assistance * Private Health Insurance * Meal Voucher (VR) and Food Voucher (VA) * Transportation Voucher * Christmas Basket * Additional Vacation Bonus * Birthday Day Off * Extended Maternity Leave * Extended Paternity Leave * Daycare Assistance for Mothers and Fathers * Wellhub (Gympass) Partnership * Profit-Sharing Program (PPR) The new Sabesp is far more than a sanitation company.
