Leadership in FinOps and resilience initiatives **Job Description**: We are looking for a **Senior Cloud Analyst** with extensive hands-on experience in **AWS**, serving as the technical reference for defining, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions. You will be responsible for architecting, automating, and operating environments with emphasis on **high availability**, **observability**, **security**, and **cost-efficiency**. **Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and evolve AWS architectures focused on performance, security, and scalability. * **Provision infrastructure as code (IaC)** using **Terraform**, applying reusable modules, versioning, and review/execution CI/CD pipelines. * **Configure and optimize CloudFront** (CDN) for low latency, including **origins**, **cache policies**, **origin request policies**, **invalidation**, **WAF**, and integration with **Route 53** and **S3/ALB**. * **Establish observability with Amazon CloudWatch** (metrics, logs, dashboards, alarms), along with **CloudWatch Synthetics**/RUM and integration with EventBridge/alarms for incident response. * Implement security standards (IAM least privilege, KMS, Secrets Manager, GuardDuty, CloudTrail), aligned with the **Well-Architected Framework**. * Support squads in designing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, GitLab CI) for applications and infrastructure. * Troubleshoot performance, cost, and reliability issues across services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, ALB/NLB, RDS/Aurora, S3, etc.). * Produce technical documentation, playbooks, and best-practice guides. * Lead **FinOps** (cost optimization) and **resilience** (backup, DR, multi-AZ/edge) initiatives. * Participate in **on-call**/rotating shifts (when applicable) and continuous improvement-oriented post-mortems. **Mandatory Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). * **Strong production-level AWS experience (senior level)**. * **Advanced Terraform**: modules, workspaces, remote state, state locking, refactoring/security strategies (varfiles, sensitive), and review patterns (plan/apply). * **CloudFront**: advanced configuration (multiple origins, behaviors, compression, HTTP/2/3, OAC/OAI, Signed URLs/Cookies), WAF and Route 53 integration, cache tuning and invalidations. * **CloudWatch**: creation of **dashboards**, **alarms**, **logs** (including log-based metrics), **Synthetics/Canaries**, and **RUM**; integration with EventBridge/SNS and runbooks. * Hands-on experience with **CI/CD** and version control (Git). * Solid knowledge of **networking** (VPC, subnets, SG/NACL, NAT, peering, endpoints, PrivateLink), **load balancing**, and **DNS**. * Security practices (IAM, managed policies, service roles, secret rotation, encryption). * Experience with **monitoring, observability, and incident response**. * Technical writing and clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders. **Preferred Qualifications** * **AWS Certification** (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Advanced Networking). * Experience with **EKS/ECS** and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary). * **WAF/Shield** (managed and custom rules). * **Serverless** (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB). * **FinOps**: cost analysis (Cost Explorer, CUR), tagging strategy, budgets/alerts. * **Extended observability**: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Jaeger/Tempo. * **SRE**: SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, runbooks/automated remediation. * Experience with **Python/Go** for internal tools or **Bash** for automation. * **Compliance** (LGPD/ISO 27001) and workload hardening. **Soft Skills** * Sense of urgency. * Collaboration and ability to mentor mid/junior-level professionals. * Analytical capability and data-driven decision-making. * Clear, concise, results-oriented communication. **Additional Information** **Location:** Alphaville (SP) or Barra Funda (SP) **Work Model:** Hybrid — one day per week onsite at either location above **Contract Type:** PJ (Independent Contractor) **Location****Contract Type****Work Model** São Paulo, SP, BR Autônomo PJ Híbrido
