Ensure efficient management of the truck fleet and driver team, guaranteeing compliance with routes, deadlines, and safety standards, with a focus on reducing operational costs, increasing productivity, and preserving company assets. * Lead the truck fleet operations at the Matupá unit, controlling availability, preventive and corrective maintenance, documentation, and regulatory compliance. * Supervise and coordinate the driver team, ensuring adherence to schedules, routes, working hours, and internal policies. * Monitor fueling, fuel consumption, and vehicle performance. * Track performance indicators (distance traveled, cost per km, delivery time, etc.). * Ensure compliance with traffic regulations, safety standards, and internal company policies. * Conduct training and provide guidance to drivers on defensive driving, vehicle care, best practices, and conduct. * Support handling of incidents, accidents, and traffic violations. * Liaise with repair shops, parts suppliers, fuel stations, and service providers. * Implement or improve fleet tracking and control systems. * Collaborate with HR, Occupational Safety, and Legal departments on matters related to personnel and vehicles. * Continuously seek cost optimization and continuous improvement of logistics processes. * Perform other related duties as determined by the immediate supervisor.
