




Responsible for developing/monitoring short, medium, and long-term mining plans, estimating ore reserve quantities, ensuring necessary information is available for mining operations execution within deadlines, quality standards, safety requirements, and at a competitive cost through proper coordination of human, technical, and material resources. Develop and update WBS, Document List, Schedule, Progress Curve, and Measurement Criteria. Monitor production performance and cost management activities, support mine management in annual budget preparation, administer planning, cost, investment, and production cycles. **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop and manage strategic projects aimed at cost reduction. * Develop specific simulations upon request from departments, such as equipment replacement studies, primary processing changes, or outsourcing of work activities. * Accurately ensure OPEX and CAPEX analysis reports. * Identify opportunities for production improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization. * Analyze the impact of production losses on costs due to plant recovery, grade, processed tonnage, DMT, and equipment working hour indicators. * Analyze and update KPIs and budget execution monthly, disseminating them to managers. * Lead the monthly production and cost closing process together with mine controllership and planning teams, ensuring month-end closure does not exceed the company's defined deadline. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly managerial reports on production and cost performance for submission to the operations directorate. * Prepare the annual budget and LOM (Life Of Mine), the mine’s strategic plan, managing the entire cycle of cost, investment, and production planning, developing schedules for teams to follow and intelligent calculation structures to facilitate scenario simulation. * Integrate the production plan into costing systems and fleet sizing. * Translate strategic planning into long-term budgets, develop strategic, tactical, and operational indicators to serve as a basis for setting individual and organizational goals. * Conduct managerial meetings focused on performance and cost management. * Comply with internal safety and health procedures and controls. * Support management in project feasibility activities using the company’s costing structure. * Develop environmental and occupational safety indicators and contribute to the development of operational procedures. * Develop LOM, medium-, and short-term production plans according to strategic guidelines established by the area coordinator. * Ore reserve estimation. * Control quality KPIs such as dilution, mining recovery, adherence, and compliance. **Requirements and qualifications** Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering; Experience in underground mine operations/planning; Intermediate to advanced English proficiency desirable.
