Mirandex began its journey in mid-1994, initially operating as a distributor of Brasil Glass from Rondônia, specializing in the distribution of flat glass and common glass sheets. In 1998, demand for tempered glass emerged within the state—an innovation at the time. Since then, we began reselling tempered glass produced in major industrial centers across the country. Rising demand, difficulties in procurement and transportation, and extended delivery times inspired us to establish our own manufacturing facility. Thus, in 2000, we inaugurated our tempered glass factory—the first in the state of Rondônia—equipped with a vertical tempering furnace. As market demand continued to intensify, customers demanded new products and faster delivery. To meet these needs, in 2002 we took a major step forward by acquiring a horizontal furnace featuring American technology, enabling faster and higher-quality glass production.
