Network Technician

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for splicing, installing, and maintaining optical fiber, metallic, and coaxial cables, as well as assisting with infrastructure and coordinating the team. Key Highlights: 1. Experience with optical fiber, metallic cables, and coaxial cables 2. Performs network installations, cable deployments, and maintenance 3. Coordinates and supervises team activities * Splice optical fiber, metallic, and coaxial cables both aerially and underground. * Perform network **installations, deployments, and maintenance**. * Assemble **splice closures** and prepare cables for connection. * Use equipment to **test cables**, identify issues, and assist in troubleshooting. * Conduct basic and detailed tests to identify defects. * Assist with minor **infrastructure tasks**, such as installing conduits, cable trays, cable ladders, and racks at POPs and sites. * Complete **service orders** and reports documenting work performed and materials used. * Keep the workplace **organized, clean, and safe**. * Perform other job-related tasks as required. * **Organize, assign, and supervise** team activities, submitting daily production reports.
