A civil engineering company is seeking a Planning Assistant in Belo Horizonte (Savassi). **Responsibilities:** Assist in developing construction execution plans and schedules, supporting the planning technician or engineer. Collect, organize, and update information regarding activity progress, recording advancements in spreadsheets or management software. Support analysis of required resources—such as materials, equipment, and labor—for each construction phase. Prepare performance reports and indicators, providing data for project monitoring. Interpret designs, drawings, and technical specifications, contributing to activity planning. Monitor maintenance schedules, material deliveries, and equipment usage, documenting deviations or delays. Participate in planning and progress monitoring meetings, providing technical and operational support. Assist in identifying risks and opportunities for improvement, proposing simple optimization solutions. Adhere to safety regulations and internal procedures, ensuring planning incorporates accident prevention measures. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and construction teams to ensure alignment between planning and execution. Previous experience as a Planning Assistant, Project Assistant, Planning Intern, or Planning Coordinator may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities in this position.
