Job Summary:
Responsible for controlling biomass quality during receiving, storage, and dispatch, ensuring compliance with standards, performing inspections, and leading the team.

Be responsible for biomass quality control during receiving, conducting inspections, sampling, and evaluations to ensure compliance with established standards. Record results, identify non-conformities, and ensure proper release or disposition of materials. Guide the team on receiving and quality control procedures, prepare technical reports, and propose process improvements. Standardize activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and operational efficiency standards.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Oversee biomass quality control during receiving, storage, and dispatch, ensuring compliance with established standards and specifications.
Conduct inspections, sampling, analyses, and quality records, identifying and addressing non-conformities.
Monitor biomass storage conditions to ensure preservation and prevent quality loss.
Oversee biomass unloading, segregation, and disposition operations, ensuring adherence to quality procedures.
Prepare reports, monitor quality indicators, and propose continuous improvement actions for processes.
Train and guide the team on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), operational procedures, and quality standards.
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Logistics, and Commercial departments to ensure biomass quality and operational efficiency.
Oversee preventive maintenance and cleaning of areas and equipment that may impact biomass quality.
Perform grain classification, ensuring established product standards, as well as validation of classification discrepancies between origin and destination;
Ensure physical integrity and safety of personnel, machinery, and equipment in the area through observation, compliance with, and dissemination of occupational health and safety regulations and procedures;
Ensure adherence to the unit’s operational schedule through leadership, inspection of various work areas, operator substitution when necessary, and execution of minor maintenance tasks;
Lead operators by supervising area services and scheduling rotations when required, maintaining discipline across the entire service area to prevent inattention and consequent damage or accidents;
Perform job-related activities in full compliance with the organization’s occupational health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures, and consistently use all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the position and department. Responsible for immediately reporting to the direct supervisor any activity posing a risk to one’s own health or that of fellow workers;
Carry out activities in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and maintaining confidentiality and protection of company information;
Maintain discipline in the 5S program, aiming for safe work through workplace organization, standardization, and cleanliness;
Safeguard company property under one’s responsibility and immediately report any issues or damages detected to the direct supervisor.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Completed Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Production Engineering, or related fields.
Experience in people management.
Practical experience in biomass storage, classification, and dispatch processes.
