Job Summary: Operate and monitor steam and cooling production systems, including water and effluent treatment, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Key Highlights: 1. Preventive maintenance and workplace organization Operate low-complexity processes in steam production and cooling systems, performing technical tasks such as measurement, treatment, and monitoring of chemicals and the water and effluent treatment plant, thereby ensuring proper operation of machinery and equipment and sector productivity. **Responsibilities and Duties** Measure chemical dosages and calculate concentrations; Complete forms, checklists, and other similar documents; Operate pumping systems and control the operation of fixed machinery; Prepare machinery and equipment for operation, and monitor boiler operation and water quality with limited autonomy; Operate boilers, cooling towers, chillers, and water and effluent treatment plants with limited autonomy; Handle chemicals used in the plant’s water treatment; Treat water to ensure its suitability for various plant applications; Monitor water quality and adjust water treatment equipment accordingly; Conduct daily inspections of sector equipment to identify potential failures, reporting them to the Utilities team leader and supervisor; Prepare shift-related incident reports and hand over relevant information to the next shift; Prepare reports containing data on steam production, water production, chemical treatment, and machine downtime hours for performance tracking and overall production control; Carry out all planned production activities, informing the immediate supervisor of any difficulties encountered; Identify and assess causes of equipment malfunction to arrange necessary repairs as quickly as possible; Ensure workplace organization, hygiene, and cleanliness to maintain a safe and conducive work environment; Perform input testing in the process and provide critical evaluation; Carry out job-related tasks in full compliance with the organization’s occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations, and consistently use all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the position and department; responsible for immediately reporting to the direct supervisor any activity posing risks to one’s own health or that of fellow workers; Perform duties in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and maintaining confidentiality and protection of company information; Maintain discipline in the 5S program, aiming for safe work through workplace organization, standardization, and cleanliness; Safeguard company property under one’s responsibility and promptly report any issues or damages detected to the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed high school education; **Additional Information** Benefits: Meal allowance; Health insurance plan (Unimed); Dental plan; Transportation allowance; Profit-sharing program (PPR); Gympass; On-site meals.
