Responsibilities \- Evaluate patients to identify the need for Occupational Therapy intervention. \- Prioritize patient demands for adequate and timely care. \- Plan, apply, review and monitor treatment aiming at independence and rehabilitation, contacting the Senior Occupational Therapist when necessary. \- Collaborate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols. \- Manage clinical workload efficiently and organizationally. \- Work as part of a team with effective communication, aiming at quality patient care outcomes. \- Record provided care and statistical data in the patient's medical record. \- Share information with the team and other departments to promote interdisciplinary care. \- Participate in clinical case meetings to align patient care. \- Supervise interns in clinical activities according to current internship plan. \- Support the review of processes and policies to improve Occupational Therapy services. \- Contribute to internal and external audits when requested. \- Participate in the creation of area-specific protocols, documents and forms. \- Report needs for purchasing or replacing materials and equipment. \- Update clinical knowledge based on scientific evidence. \- Share clinical learnings and information with interns. \- Support training of Junior Occupational Therapists if necessary. \- Attend institutional and departmental trainings according to development plan. \- Promote Occupational Therapy within the team, under supervision of the Senior Occupational Therapist, through lectures, presentations or direct interactions. \- Handle inappropriate behaviors in terminal and/or aggressive patients. \- Be supportive towards emotional needs of patients and families, referring them when necessary. \- Act in accordance with institutional and unit guidelines. \- Have physical ability to perform or assist in patient transfers. \- Be mobile enough to transport materials between care units. \- Have physical endurance to work in different environments and positions, standing for long periods if necessary. \- Know how to operate wheelchairs and mobility assistance devices. \- Be exposed to odors and bodily fluids in the hospital environment. \- Work in functionally limited environments, such as home visits or community care. \- Use equipment and adaptations to promote autonomy and functional independence, according to training. \- Use specific therapeutic equipment to treat body structures and functions, according to training. Requirements \- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, active registration with the Regional Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy; \- Previous experience in the required field; Desirable: \- Specialization course or residency in the field \- Office software proficiency \- Instrumental English knowledge for reading technical texts; Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree * Health insurance * Life insurance * Childcare allowance * Meal voucher * Transportation voucher * On-site meal
