Job Summary: Perform geological mapping, sampling, and mine geological control, applying mining geology techniques to support operations and geological modeling. Key Highlights: 1. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Geology and experience in mine geology. **Junior Mine Geologist** **Summary:** Perform geological mapping, sampling, and mine geological control activities, applying fundamental mining geology techniques and ensuring consistent data collection to support operations and geological modeling. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct field and open-pit geological mapping, identifying lithologies, structures, and geological conditions. * Describe drill core samples and geological profiles, ensuring data quality and traceability. * Collect rock, channel, and soil samples for grade and ore variability analysis. * Monitor drilling activities, overseeing execution and data quality. * Support ore quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), validating laboratory results. * Collect, organize, and update geological data in systems and databases. * Assist in interpreting geological and geochemical data for technical analyses and studies. * Support geological modeling and mineral resource and reserve estimation activities. * Monitor mine operations and ore movement, supporting mining control. * Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations, using PPE and following internal procedures. * Perform other related duties as directed by management. **Education:** * Bachelor's degree in Geology. **Experience:** * Experience in mine geology. **Technical Competencies:** * Basic knowledge of geological mapping and sampling. * Familiarity with QA/QC and grade control. * Proficiency in Excel and geological software (e.g., Surpac, Datamine, Leapfrog, QGIS, or similar) is a plus. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Discipline * Proactivity * Attention to detail * Teamwork * Technical communication * Results-oriented **Other Requirements:** * Brazilian driver's license category B * Registration with the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy (CREA)
