Join Nexa and be part of mining that moves with the world! #womeninmining **Responsibilities and Duties** * Coordinate and develop long-term mine plans to ensure a strategic plan that optimizes asset life. * Develop production scenarios to maximize site value and contribute to the company’s financial objectives. * Evaluate new projects and new mine areas for the long term. * Present alternatives for mining sequence, project execution, and analyze the application of new technologies in the unit’s long-term operations. * Perform long-term 3D mine modeling. * Analyze process and activity costs within the Life-of-Mine (LOM). * Develop proposals for new projects related to quality, cost, and productivity. * Investigate and develop engineering alternatives for mining methods. * Analyze and assess fleet sizing required to meet LOM requirements. * Manage the unit’s reserve estimation process to ensure data accuracy and timeliness. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering. * Experience in similar roles and in long-term planning for mechanized underground mining. * Advanced proficiency in Deswik software. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Technical knowledge in Geomechanics, Ventilation, and Mine Infrastructure. * Specialization in Planning and Operations. * Brazilian National Driver’s License. **Skills and Competencies:** * Analytical ability and data interpretation skills. * Communication skills. * Strategic thinking and results orientation. * Proactivity and teamwork capability. **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment where everyone feels welcome and comfortable being themselves.*** We are one of the world’s largest zinc producers!
