Job Summary: The Project Engineer will develop and implement engineering projects, controlling progress and costs, applying methodologies, and supervising field teams to optimize processes and ensure delivery of stable projects. Engagement in continuous improvement of processes and results Description: Basic requirements: * Bachelor's degree or Technologist degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields. * Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments, such as electromechanical and safety, to optimize maintenance processes. * Knowledge of mechanical assembly and heavy structural boiler installations. * Prior experience in assembly, operation, and maintenance of industrial boilers, preferably in pulp or paper industries. * Familiarity with safety standards and regulations applicable to boiler operation and industrial facilities (e.g., NR\-13 in Brazil). * Ability to interpret technical drawings, assembly schematics, and project specifications. * Understanding of manufacturing and mechanical equipment assembly processes, including welding, machining, and metal structure assembly. * Familiarity with quality control and inspection procedures for equipment during and after assembly. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders. Preferred qualifications: * Experience in pulp mills; * Strong interpersonal communication and team management skills; * Advanced experience in conducting construction meetings and project implementation; * Willingness to travel and work day/night shifts as scheduled. Brief Description: Contribute to the development and implementation of company projects by applying and recommending innovations, new methods, equipment, and tools that optimize resource utilization, improve productivity and infrastructure, and streamline company processes; monitor project execution and supervise adherence to the defined scope, aiming to deliver stable, fully operational projects within the criteria agreed upon with the client. Detailed Description: * Develop and execute engineering projects, detailing the project plan, coordinating with specialists and departments to build the schedule and milestones specified in the methodology, and monitoring activities across various disciplines to ensure timely, high-quality delivery meeting agreed-upon specifications with the client. * Monitor project progress across all phases, involving relevant stakeholders according to the established schedule, identifying critical issues, analyzing reasons for schedule or cost deviations, and implementing approved corrective actions to align all parties on project progress and potential cross-disciplinary or cross-project impacts. * Control project costs and measure service delivery performance of engineering suppliers, verifying actual technical staff performance, generating purchase requisitions, and authorizing payments per company procedures. * Apply project development methodologies as well as planning development, control, and evaluation tools, managing approval milestones and conducting necessary communications to ensure activities proceed as planned. * Monitor field team activities and deliverables to ensure construction progress aligns with the plan and take corrective action if deviations occur. * Prepare budgetary and technical feasibility analyses for projects within your area of responsibility, following internal methodologies and procedures to meet contractual scope agreed with the client. * Prepare interim and final reports for projects under your responsibility, noting any identified issues to support contract managers in decision-making. * Support less technically experienced professionals on complex tasks by sharing knowledge and contributing to their development. * Assist your immediate supervisor in area-specific processes, leveraging your experience for self-development. * Implement departmental work plans and procedures, executing and monitoring required technical actions to achieve established objectives and goals. * Drive improvements in processes, materials, products, and other opportunities aligned with area priorities of safety, quality, and results. 2512250202491797137
