* Ensure proper use and preservation of maintenance tools and instruments at facilities, aiming to maintain workplace safety and company assets; * Supervise emergency response, directing and guiding the team during special inspections of facilities to locate and identify causes of automatic shutdowns, reporting incidents to management to restore equipment operation as quickly as possible; * Receive materials and equipment, control, organize, clean, and properly store spare parts, complying with established procedures and implementing storage condition improvements to maintain inventory in optimal usable condition; * Operate company vehicles, adhering to traffic laws and fleet policies, ensuring safety, asset integrity, and upholding COTESA’s and the Client’s image; * Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal procedures, maintaining updated safety documentation, monitoring correct usage and maintenance of PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE), proactively monitoring activities to identify hazards and proposing control measures to SESMT, safeguarding team members’ health and safety; * Prepare monthly and technical reports, guiding the team to follow engineering-established standards to meet contractual deadlines and legal requirements; * Provide technical information regarding equipment/system failures and performance, submitting specific data to support analysis by Engineering specialists; * Identify operational events during working hours—or upon notification from Operations (e.g., automatic shutdowns, systemic fluctuations, high-severity alarms, etc.), taking locally requested actions per Operations instructions to maximize asset availability; * Supervise local operations and, when remote operation is lost, perform them on telecontrolled facilities, following network procedures, operational routines, and local operating instructions to ensure maximum asset availability; * Maintain civil infrastructure facilities to ensure adequate infrastructure conditions for proper activity execution; * Receive and accompany external agency visits and audits, as directed by the immediate supervisor, fulfilling requests and presenting documents to demonstrate compliance with applicable legal requirements; * Manage local administrative/financial/accounting matters (cash handling), complying with financial administrative procedures, issuing income and expenditure reports supported by invoices to meet local demands and maintain appropriate levels of available financial resources; * Foster positive relationships among accessing/accessed parties to fulfill operational agreements and shared facility arrangements, promoting maximum inter-party cooperation; * Maintain good relations with landowners and asset owners, reporting potential land-related embargoes or outstanding title issues to the Contract Manager to ensure unimpeded access for service execution; * Promote strong relations with the client’s local team to align service requests from the client with internally generated demands; * Ensure environmental compliance, supervising and guiding the team to meet current environmental legislation and programs derived from project licensing; * Contribute to developing and executing Contingency Plans, Emergency Response Plans, and/or Dam Safety Plans, following internal procedures, identifying deviations, implementing necessary actions, and allocating required resources to ensure people’s safety and facility operability; * Assist in drafting technical specifications, following internal procedures, to procure specialized services; * Monitor area-specific KPIs, identifying weaknesses and discrepancies, proposing corrective actions, and reviewing periodic reports to improve area processes and support strategic decision-making; * Contribute to annual budget development and review by analyzing area data, tracking and forecasting annual expenses/costs, and suggesting adjustments to meet planned objectives and optimize company resources; * Manage team personnel, conducting regular meetings, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying development needs, and sharing knowledge to achieve goals and targets, enhance team capability, foster interpersonal relations, and continuously improve workplace climate;
