This Turbo Generator Operator position is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development—if you are ready to take on new challenges and grow with us.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Operate turbines and generators in the power generation house; perform mandatory shutdowns and restarts of the power generator as required by the production line.
* Monitor power generation equipment and maintain appropriate levels to prevent damage to the production process.
* Monitor internal electricity consumption; connect and disconnect the external power grid (EEVP).
* Start the diesel generator when necessary.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, including panels, motors, circuit breakers, frequency inverters, static starters, circuit breakers, lighting systems, and electrical maintenance and installations in the powerhouse.
* Replace lamps, ballasts, lamp holders, projectors, containers, fuses; perform internal and external cleaning; retighten busbars and connections.
* Carry out cleaning, preservation, and maintenance activities for machinery, equipment, and physical facilities during the off-season period (scheduled maintenance) of the industrial park.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed technical training in Electrotechnology or Electroelectronics;
* Technical knowledge of power generation and export, medium- and high-voltage electricity, electrical panels, protection relays, heat exchangers, valve maintenance, overhead crane operation, concepts and procedures of preventive and predictive maintenance, and boilers;
* Availability to work rotating shifts under a 5x1 schedule;
* Must reside in Rio Brilhante / MS.
