Focus on safety and teamwork at the construction site * **Heavy Equipment Operation**: Operate heavy equipment—including **motor graders** (also known as "graders"), **patrols**, **backhoes**, and others—to perform land grading and site preparation. * **Soil Leveling**: Control ground elevation according to project specifications, adjusting terrain height and slope. * **Terrain Grading**: Perform cuts and fills, distributing and compacting soil precisely to ensure the surface is ready for subsequent construction phases. * **Plan Reading and Interpretation**: Follow instructions and specifications provided by engineers or construction technicians, interpreting plans to ensure terrain preparation aligns with design intent. * **Equipment Inspection**: Conduct daily equipment inspections to verify proper operation and report any issues for maintenance. * **Teamwork**: Collaborate with other construction professionals, including engineers, foremen, and operators of other equipment. * **Safety**: Adhere to occupational safety regulations, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure worksite safety.
