Our purpose is to advance the frontiers of data and AI technologies to generate sustainable and ethical value for business units. Our teams are organized into three major pillars: analytics (focused on profit pools), platform & infrastructure, and governance & quality. Together with business units, we design and implement analytical intelligence solutions that drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and enhance customer experience. Work model: Hybrid – 1 day onsite Location: Osasco – SP or Curitiba – PR **What will your day-to-day look like?** As a Data Engineer II, you will work within the Data Platform Management area, and your main responsibilities will include: * Developing robust data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources (mainframe, APIs, internal systems, logs), ensuring scalability and performance within the Databricks environment. * Implementing data processing and quality strategies during ingestion, accounting for diverse formats and volumes. * Conducting advanced testing to validate pipeline integrity, consistency, and efficiency, anticipating potential failures in complex environments. * Managing production deployments, ensuring continuous integration and minimal downtime, with special attention to the bank’s critical environments. * Monitoring and updating technical and operational KPIs, proposing improvements based on metrics and analysis (preferably using tools such as Power BI). * Proactively resolving incidents and bottlenecks related to data ingestion, engaging multiple stakeholders and legacy systems. * Participating in agile ceremonies, contributing technical insights and strategic alignment to evolve the squad from operational to tactical maturity. * Collaborating with internal specialists to incorporate emerging technologies and best practices, staying up to date with the broad technological landscape of the area. **Requirements and Qualifications** What do you need to have or know? * Completed undergraduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. * Proficiency in Analytics, Python, SQL, and Spark. * Solid hands-on experience with Databricks (our primary analytics environment). * Knowledge of continuous integration and automated deployment practices (CI/CD). * Ability to implement automated testing in data pipelines.
