Microbiology Laboratory Technician

If you are a **Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field Technician**, and are seeking an opportunity to work in a **laboratory** focused on quality and well-defined methodologies, this position is for you! We are looking for a **Laboratory Technician** to work in the **microbiology department**. **Main responsibilities:** * Perform **microbiological assays** according to established methodologies and technical standards (e.g., total count, coliforms, molds and yeasts, among others); * Carry out **preparation of culture media, samples, and materials** for analysis; * Perform **calculation and recording of microbiological results** with accuracy and organization; * Handle **receiving, storage, and control of reagents, materials, and glassware**; * Conduct **sample collection** (surfaces, food, water, etc.) at supermarkets, clinics, hospitals, industries, and other partner sites. **Requirements:** * Completed **Technical Course** in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields; * Knowledge (even basic) of **microbiological routines**; * Familiarity with **good laboratory practices** and technical procedures; * **Driver's license category B** – desirable (external sample collection activities); * Organization, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:48 PM.
