Job Summary: Support environmental management of operations, focusing on solid waste management on the factory floor, ensuring legal compliance and administrative support to EHS. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborate with EHS, Production, and Supply Chain **Position Objective** Support operational environmental management activities, with primary focus on solid waste management on the factory floor, ensuring legal compliance, operational organization, and administrative support to EHS routines. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Responsibilities** * Support solid waste management on the factory floor, including proper segregation, identification, packaging, and temporary storage; * Collect waste from production areas according to schedule and internal procedures; * Monitor waste loading and unloading activities, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety requirements; * Support issuance and control of Waste Transport Manifests (MTR – MTE/MTR, as applicable), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records; * Maintain environmental controls and records, such as spreadsheets, reports, indicators, and audit evidence; * Support administrative tasks for the Environmental / EHS area, including document organization, communication with waste vendors, and compliance with legal requirements; * Collaborate with EHS, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure adherence to established environmental processes. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Desired Requirements** * Currently pursuing a Technical Diploma in Environmental Science or related fields; * Interest in working in an industrial environment / on the factory floor; * Basic knowledge of waste management and environmental legislation will be considered a plus; * Basic Office suite (Excel, Word).
