**Description:** ---------------- Technical responsibility for the development of BCI-Mechatronics components, ensuring compliance with quality, performance, time, and cost objectives. Responsible for ensuring development according to technical requirements, company standards, and local regulations. Responsible for component/system diagnostics during development and post-sales phases, interacting with suppliers to define problems and improvement actions. Main Responsibilities: * Develop technical specifications for electronic and/or mechatronic modules applied in vehicles; * Define Hardware, Software, Mechanical, and Aesthetic requirements at the component level; * Manage the scope of delivery for Software, Hardware, and Mechanical components; * Manage supplier development activities, ensuring all development processes are fulfilled; * Perform/ensure diagnostic activities on relevant systems/components and provide engineering support for problem-solving activities at the assembly plant (PER/VLO) from pilot phase through launch; * Manage quality and cost indicators for components under DRE responsibility; * Responsible for using and updating the company's knowledge database and lessons learned; * Align processes and development guidelines between global Engineering teams during local component development; * Collaborate with the pre-development team during the concept phase to define technical solutions and corresponding performance, timing, and cost targets (using appropriate systems); * Ensure completeness/availability of all necessary engineering documents for sourcing (Sourcing Packages) within deadlines to support program deliveries; * Monitor technical validation plans for ED (Engineering Design), DV (Design Validation), and PV (Process Validation) tests to ensure timely completion and resolve or escalate non-conformities; * Ensure technical feasibility, design robustness, component manufacturability, and technical documentation compliance by coordinating co-designer suppliers. Identify critical issues or any violations of Design/Test Standards and determine necessary actions to meet assigned targets; * Manage risk assessments and issue resolution. **Requirements:** ----------------- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation); High level of proficiency in English; Native or full professional proficiency in Portuguese; Strong written and oral communication skills; Strong problem-solving abilities (accountability, proactivity, initiative, logical thinking); Strong leadership and interpersonal skills (both essential in an international environment); Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team; Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work environment; requires minimal direction; Logical thinker capable of systematically organizing complex issues toward resolution; Excellent program management and organizational skills; Computer literacy (including spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, and database applications); Must be able and willing to drive and test vehicles; Willingness to travel (up to 4 weeks duration occasionally); Availability to be present at the factory during weekly working hours.
