Job Summary: Responsible for directing crane/hoist operators to ensure safe cargo handling, guaranteeing compliance with safety guidelines and preventing accidents. Key Highlights: 1. Direct crane/hoist operators in cargo handling 2. Ensure safety during cargo handling 3. Communicate movements and stops to the equipment operator **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Direct crane/hoist operators using specific hand signals or radio communication devices for cargo handling, controlling load weight and securing conditions, including slings and locking mechanisms; Responsible for communicating to the equipment operator which movements to perform, when to start and when to stop, and ensuring cargo is moved safely to avoid collisions and other accidents; Ensure the work area is clear and safe, and that safety guidelines are followed during lifting operations. **REQUIREMENTS:** 16-hour Crane Signaler and/or Mini-Crane Signaler course – Certification – Completed **WORK SCHEDULE:** Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM **BENEFITS:** Transportation allowance \+ Dental plan \+ 4% discount on purchasing a real estate development.
