Sewage Treatment Technician - STP Operation - Pirapozinho Region

This is the Sabesp way of being, transforming the present, and preparing the future. **Responsibilities and duties** Operate Sewage Treatment Plants using various technologies and scales, including stabilization ponds, activated sludge, anaerobic reactors, filter trenches, compact systems, biodigesters, sludge dewatering, among others. ‎Collect samples, perform analyses, and interpret results. Receive chemical products and fill out control forms. Adjust process parameters as needed, performing field maneuvers and operations or operating automated systems. Identify operational issues and propose practical solutions. Prepare detailed technical reports. Supervise technical and school visits, presenting the treatment process with emphasis on environmental education. Receive and guide service providers, suppliers, and contracted interventions. Monitor interactions with regulatory agencies. Represent the company at external events. Monitor operation and performance parameters of electromechanical equipment and request maintenance when necessary, following internal procedures; Identify and diagnose failures, ensuring continuity and safety of treatment processes; Perform other related tasks as determined by the organization, according to immediate supervisor's guidance; Drive company vehicles to carry out tasks, ensuring safety, compliance with traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance (Driver's License Category B). **Requirements and qualifications** Requirements and Qualifications Education: Technical degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related fields. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Registration with the Regional Council of Chemistry (CRQ) or the Regional Council of Industrial Technicians of the State of São Paulo (CRT).
