**Job Description – HVAC Designer** AIR MINAS is seeking an HVAC Designer to develop air conditioning, ventilation, and mechanical exhaust projects for corporate, commercial, and industrial construction sites across Brazil. We seek an organized, analytical professional with strong technical capability and experience in developing construction documents and multidisciplinary coordination. **Responsibilities** * Develop HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) projects * Prepare technical drawings, floor plans, sections, construction details, and isometric diagrams * Perform HVAC system sizing calculations * Prepare descriptive specifications and material lists * Coordinate HVAC designs with other disciplines including electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural engineering * Support the estimation and construction teams with technical clarifications * Review designs in accordance with technical standards and client specifications * Participate in internal technical meetings and client meetings * Track design revisions and maintain document control **Requirements** * Technical or undergraduate degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or Mechanical Technician; * Experience in HVAC projects * Knowledge of systems: VRF, Chiller, Packaged Rooftop Units (Splitão), ventilation, and mechanical exhaust * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Proficiency in CAD drafting software * Basic knowledge of thermal load calculation * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in corporate and industrial construction projects * Familiarity with ABNT standards applicable to HVAC * Experience in BIM coordination * Hands-on experience with calculation and 3D modeling software * Willingness to conduct site visits **Job Information** * Employment Type: CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws) * Work Mode: On-site * Location: Belo Horizonte/MG * Travel Availability: Occasional * Salary: Market-competitive Benefits: * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance * Health insurance * Life insurance **Desired Profile** We seek a committed professional with strong technical expertise, proactivity, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, while maintaining organization and quality throughout the project development process.
