If you believe in these principles and want to grow within a dynamic and challenging environment, this role is for you! **About the Position** We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Developer to develop and evolve robust, scalable, and well-structured solutions, with an emphasis on code quality, performance, and system integration. This person will join a technical team that values best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement. **Responsibilities** * Develop, maintain, and evolve backend applications using PHP and Laravel. * Design and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring security, performance, and comprehensive documentation. * Work with MySQL databases, performing modeling, queries, and query optimization. * Integrate internal systems with external services and third-party APIs. * Implement and maintain automated tests (unit and/or integration). * Apply development best practices such as Clean Code, code organization, and version control with Git. * Work in containerized environments (Docker) and Linux-based systems. * Collaborate with the team on requirements analysis, technical problem-solving, and improving development processes. **Required Technical Skills** * Solid experience with PHP and Laravel. * Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database modeling and query optimization. * Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs. * Practical experience with code versioning using Git. * Application of coding best practices (Clean Code, Object Calisthenics). * Experience integrating third-party APIs. * Familiarity with Docker and Linux environments. * Experience with automated testing. **Nice-to-Have** * Knowledge of Next.js and React. * Experience with Capacitor. * Basic understanding of UI/UX. * Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Application of SOLID principles. * Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Redis, or similar).
