Job Summary: Responsible for serving patients, maintaining kitchen hygiene and organization, preparing and transporting meals, and forwarding nutritional requests. Key Highlights: 1. Serve patients and maintain kitchen hygiene 2. Prepare and portion hospital meals 3. Assist nutritionists and distribute food ***MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:*** 1\. Serve patients and their companions at their bedsides 2\. Maintain the kitchen, utensils, refrigerator, and cabinets properly cleaned and organized according to the work schedule 3\. Assemble trays/meal boxes for meal portioning 4\. Portion desserts and salads 5\. Portion and transport meals and/or food to inpatient units 6\. Forward patients' requests to the institution's nutritionists 7\. Distribute meals across various hospital areas 8\. Prepare juices, teas, or other simple preparations upon request 9\. Prepare specific snacks for units when requested 10\. Collect used dishes from patients and companions in respective departments 11\. Label food items according to expiration date and type. ***REQUIREMENTS*** ***\-*** Mandatory: Completed elementary education **\-** Preferred: Completed high school education (food handling course) ***WORK HOURS*** From 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM \+ weekend on-call shifts.
