Operation in highly complex tax environments #### **About the role:** * Area: Tax Planning * Reports to: Head of Accounting/Tax * Act as the strategic leader of the tax department, focusing on identifying, structuring, and substantiating tax opportunities aimed at reducing tax burden and recovering tax credits. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Identify tax savings opportunities at federal, state, and municipal levels * Map and implement tax positions applicable to the business * Structure and conduct tax planning with economic rationale and legal certainty * Lead tax credit recovery projects (administrative and judicial) * Evaluate tax incentives, special regimes, and tax benefits * Analyze tax impacts in corporate reorganizations and strategic transactions #### **Desirable requirements (differentiators):** Technical Requirements * Solid knowledge of ICMS (Substitution Tax, DIFAL, state benefits and incentives) \- Proficiency in PIS/COFINS (cumulative and non-cumulative) \- Knowledge of ISS and municipal taxes \- Ability to analyze the Tax Reform (IBS and CBS) Academic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Economics, or Business Administration Professional Experience * Proven experience in tax leadership roles \- Experience in large corporations and/or tax consulting firms \- Operation in highly complex tax environments Behavioral Competencies * Strategic vision and results orientation \- Analytical ability and critical thinking \- Clear communication with technical and executive teams \- Proactivity in identifying opportunities \- Ethical conduct and focus on sustainable solutions #### **Benefits:** * Meal/voucher allowance * Health insurance * Telemedicine * Telepsychology * Dental plan * Nutrition coaching * Sports coaching * Attendance program * Life insurance * Funeral assistance * Benefits club * Pharmacy discounts #### **Work schedule and working hours:** * Monday to Friday
