More than filling a position, we seek someone who shares our purpose: ensuring secure digital identities and transforming how businesses and people connect. ### **Your Mission** In this role, you will have direct impact on Certta's backend solutions' architecture, evolution, and stability, acting strategically and practically throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Your role will be essential in designing, building, and sustaining robust, scalable, and secure systems—translating business and market needs into high-impact technical solutions. Your deliverables will be tied to KPIs such as system availability, performance, scalability, code quality, integration reliability, and security—helping Certta grow with autonomy, technical excellence, and trust. ### **What You'll Do** * Develop and maintain high-quality backend systems, following agile best practices and secure development principles; * Design, build, and evolve APIs, services, processing routines, and integrations; * Work with data modeling, persistence, and storage solutions; * Ensure application performance, scalability, availability, and resilience; * Implement automated tests to ensure solution consistency and reliability; * Build secure and efficient communication interfaces between internal and external systems; * Collaborate with other engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to define technical solutions; * Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and sharing best practices; * Engage across the full solution lifecycle: research, design, refinement, development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance; * Document architectures, technical decisions, implementations, and configurations; * Ensure deliverables meet defined quality, security, and acceptance criteria; * Support translating strategic business needs into executable technical solutions. ### **What You Need to Bring** * Solid experience as a Backend Engineer in medium- to high-complexity environments; * Proficiency in Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) and/or .NET; * Experience with distributed architectures, microservices, and REST/asynchronous APIs; * Advanced knowledge of cloud environments, especially AWS; * Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, and DevOps practices; * Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, security, and availability; * Experience with production monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting; * Knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies; * Ability to autonomously manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables; * Proactive, hands\-on, and results-oriented mindset; * Attention to detail and commitment to technical quality; * Flexibility, resilience, and emotional intelligence to thrive in dynamic environments. ### **More About You** * Value diversity, inclusion, and respect; * Are curious, enjoy learning, and take initiative; * Collaborate easily and build strong relationships across diverse teams; * Balance technical execution with strategic thinking; * Share our work culture: Transparency, Customer Obsession, Absolute Responsibility, People First, and Execution Focus. **What We Offer** At Certta, we believe work goes beyond the job description—it’s about being part of a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment where everyone has room to grow.
