Opportunity for continuous professional development Supervise the nursing team in compliance with current legislation, ensuring patient safety and comprehensive mental health care. **Responsibilities and Duties** Unit technical supervisor; Define clinical protocols jointly with the multidisciplinary team; Ensure implementation of the Nursing Care Systematization (NCS); Assess care needs and levels provided to enhance the nursing team; Improve or introduce new nursing techniques and elevate standards of care; Specify and control equipment, permanent supplies, and consumables to ensure proper performance of nursing tasks; Manage incidents, complications, and all nursing activities—from the most to the least complex—taking appropriate actions; Clarify family members' questions regarding patients’ health conditions and nursing services; Perform nursing team staffing calculations according to COREN’s adopted methodology; Conduct research and participate in events aimed at expanding, disseminating, and ensuring evidence-based scientific learning; Promote and participate in mental health promotion events; Ensure continuing education in accordance with planning and training needs assessments (TNA); Request equipment, furniture, and materials necessary for patient care and safety; Notify and receive notifications from sanitary surveillance and other competent authorities regarding sentinel events, incidents, and technical complaints; Participate in mandatory committees and Patient Safety Committees, CIPA, Clinical Pharmacy, and others; Maintain necessary and up-to-date information on all nursing professionals for submission to the Regional Nursing Council (COREN); Monitor team and departmental performance indicators; Lead quality standard implementation processes within responsible areas; Optimize workflow by delegating tasks according to responsibility levels; Monitor resolution of audit-identified non-conformities; Define, measure, and analyze departmental performance goals and indicators; Support internal and external audits, taking accountability for documented nursing clinical processes; Manage personnel of teams under supervision, evaluate team performance for promotions and career progression; prepare vacation schedules, time-off plans, and staff rosters; Monitor departmental activity execution and verify hygiene, occupational safety, and other conditions to ensure smooth operation of planned and organized services. Ensure compliance with internal policies and specific legislation. Stay updated on technological advances in the field to support professional development, knowledge sharing, suggestions for equipment and process improvements, and contribute to continuous improvement. Be accountable for the quality, reliability, and performance of resources, services, and information generated by assigned tasks; Safeguard organizational assets, requesting maintenance, repair, and/or replacement whenever necessary; Support supervision on matters inherent to the area of expertise, presenting and discussing problems and irregularities to assist in defining procedures and actions to be adopted; **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed undergraduate degree Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health is a plus Nursing Care Systematization Nursing Care in Mental Health **Additional Information** Meal Allowance Cost-of-living allowance Meals provided on-site.
