Job Summary:
Monitor and guide patients, safeguarding their physical and mental health and ensuring organization and safety within the hospital environment.

Monitor and guide patients throughout the hospital premises to foster an environment conducive to promoting their physical and mental health.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Assistive control and surveillance of external areas.
* Access control in the cafeteria.
* Control of smoking area usage.
* Distribution of cigarettes to patients.
* Assistance in organizing group activities.
* Support clinical teams in escorting patients to psychological, medical, and medication administration appointments.
* Observation of patient behavior and reporting to case supervisors.
* Ensure quality, reliability, and performance of resources, services, and information generated by tasks under one's responsibility;
* Maintain institutional assets, requesting maintenance, repair, and/or replacement whenever necessary;
* Support supervision on matters inherent to one's area of practice, presenting and discussing problems and irregularities to inform procedural and action decisions;
* Provide assistance, upon request by nursing staff, during patient searches upon arrival prior to admission;
* Guide patients and visitors by providing information regarding the location of hospital departments and services;
* Prevent and resolve conflicts by diplomatically intervening in situations of disagreement or inappropriate behavior;
* Report irregularities or risk situations concerning patients to immediate superiors;
* Perform duties applying biosafety norms and procedures;
* Assist patients with mobility difficulties and those using wheelchairs;
* Deliver personal belongings to respective departments;
* Remain constantly vigilant, attentive, and proactive toward potential issues that may arise, immediately reporting them to the competent department;
* Identify and correct inappropriate behaviors violating regulations by patients and visitors, such as: smoking in enclosed areas; walking barefoot; running through common clinic areas; littering; romantic interactions between patients; clothing hung on windows, doors, or air conditioning units;
* Perform other related tasks as required or in the absence of one's supervisor.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed High School education
* Experience in monitoring, security, store surveillance, or similar roles.
