Provide technical leadership and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams Position Title: Senior Mechanical Designer **Job Summary** The Senior Mechanical Designer will be responsible for developing, detailing, and optimizing high-complexity mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with functional, regulatory, and company quality requirements. They will serve as the team’s technical reference, proposing innovative solutions, reviewing critical projects, and supporting the development of junior and mid-level designers. Main Responsibilities * Design and detail complex mechanical projects, primarily using SolidWorks (3D modeling and 2D drawings). * Develop technical solutions that optimize costs, timelines, and manufacturing processes. * Conduct critical project reviews to ensure compliance with technical standards, internal specifications, and customer requirements. * Review and validate projects from other team members, ensuring quality and standardization. * Guide and supervise junior and mid-level designers, promoting knowledge transfer and best design practices. * Collaborate with production, quality assurance, process engineering, procurement, and commercial departments to ensure technical and production feasibility of solutions. * Participate in technical meetings, project presentations, and scope and schedule definition. * Support decision-making for strategic projects and investment evaluations related to engineering. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering**, or related fields. * Minimum of **5 years** of experience in developing complex mechanical projects. * Proficiency in **3D CAD**, preferably **SolidWorks**, and familiarity with simulation/CAE tools. * Solid knowledge of technical standards applicable to the company’s industry segment. * Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and technical leadership ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Desired Competencies * Strong analytical capability and systemic vision of products and processes. * Creativity and proactivity in identifying improvement opportunities and solving problems. * Experience in **industrial and/or automotive projects** will be considered an advantage. * Advanced technical English for reading standards, catalogs, and technical documentation.
