Conduct topographic surveys using measuring instruments to determine land positions, establish boundaries, and generate accurate data for planning and execution of engineering and construction projects. Perform analysis and interpretation of collected data to provide detailed information on the terrain and infrastructure of localized and linear areas. Job Description Functions and responsibilities:* Conduct land measurements and surveys using equipment such as total stations, GPS, levels, and other measuring instruments. Collect data on terrain topography, geographical features, property boundaries, and existing site infrastructure. Update digital maps of water and sewage networks (GIS); * Produce topographic plans and detailed maps from collected data, including information on contour lines, dimensions, alignments, and terrain characteristics. Develop technical reports on site conditions and present this data to engineers and designers. * Manage and maintain updated records of works and installations (CADAI); * Perform spatial analyses, data integration, and georeferencing of networks and assets; * Perform calculations and adjustments on collected data to ensure accuracy of topographic information. Analyze and interpret survey results to provide precise information on the topography and geography of an area. * Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure topographic data meets requirements for construction or urban planning projects. * Assist in construction planning, including defining excavation areas, elevations, required slopes, earthwork, drainage, and other terrain-related aspects. * Conduct topographic monitoring during construction to ensure projects are being properly followed. Verify and measure alignment and leveling of structures, ongoing foundations, and linear works. * Maintain detailed and organized field data records, including survey information, calculations, and technical reports. Ensure data accuracy and quality using specialized surveying and geoprocessing software. * Ensure all surveys and topographic plans comply with technical standards, regulations, and legal requirements. Guarantee measurement accuracy to ensure projects are executed correctly and safely. * Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as total stations, GNSS receivers, optical levels, laser scanners, and drones, ensuring they are in good working condition. Request maintenance and calibration of equipment as needed. * Ensure technical information complies with standards required by the concessionaire; * Work integrated with engineering, operations, and information technology teams; * Support alignment between executive designs, construction activities, and cadastral records; * Propose continuous improvements in 'Surveying' processes within the engineering quality management system; * Comply with work standards, procedures, and occupational health and safety policies and QHSE standards of ACCIONA. Required Skills and Competencies Personal Requirements:* Technical or higher education in Geoprocessing, Surveying, Environmental Engineering, Hydrography, Cartography, or related fields. * Previous experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and reading technical drawings is desirable. Experience in sanitation will be considered a plus. Technical Competencies: Knowledge of technical registration systems and georeferencing; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Handling and operation of surveying equipment; * Generation and processing of data such as orthomosaics, Digital Surface Models (DSM), Digital Terrain Models (DTM), contour lines, volume calculations, and land use and land cover maps. Proficiency in GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS); General Competencies:* Organization and attention to technical detail; * Logical reasoning and analytical thinking; * Good interpersonal communication; * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
