Job Summary: A professional responsible for the preparation, painting, and finishing of vehicle parts—including sanding, filler application, painting, and polishing—to ensure aesthetic quality. Key Highlights: 1. Expertise in automotive part preparation and finishing 2. Responsible for painting and polishing to enhance appearance 3. Assisting in assembly and cleaning of the refurbishment booth Prepare parts, vehicle sections, or implements prior to painting (e.g., sanding, filler application, fiberglass, base coat finishing—painting, raw finish of trailers—rubberizing, etc.) and use a heat gun to expedite work. Calculate paint quantities as needed for color matching, aiming to minimize material waste. Paint recovered trailer and cab components, analyzing and performing necessary finishing to ensure optimal appearance. Perform polishing after painting, when required, to achieve superior finishing and appearance on recovered parts. Apply standardized decals to trailers. Assist in assembling and disassembling refurbishment trailer covers. Clean the refurbishment booth after trailers are removed.
