Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior AI Analyst / Data Scientist to serve as the technical pioneer—developing AI models and evangelizing AI adoption to optimize internal processes. Key Highlights: 1. Hands-on development and internal evangelization We are looking for a Senior Artificial Intelligence Analyst / Data Scientist who will be the first technical hire in this area. This role combines technical model-development skills with the ability to act as an internal evangelist, promoting the use and value of AI to optimize our internal processes from the ground up. The Challenge: This role is pivotal and requires proactivity, focusing on: 1\. Hands-on Development: Develop and implement the first AI solutions, demonstrating their business value. 2\. Internal Evangelization: Identify and communicate process-optimization opportunities to teams, fostering adoption of a data-driven mindset. Responsibilities: 1\. Technical Implementation (Hands-on) * Model Lifecycle: Participate in the full Data Science lifecycle—from data collection and cleaning to developing and testing Machine Learning models (Classification, Regression, Clustering). * First Solutions: Develop Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and initial AI solutions to optimize internal processes (e.g., identifying bottlenecks, automating complex reports, forecasting trends). * Initial Infrastructure: Assist in selecting and configuring initial tools and technical environments (libraries, cloud development environment, foundational frameworks). * Data Quality: Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency used in modeling, collaborating closely with Engineering/IT teams. 2\. Culture and Evangelization: * Opportunity Identification: Conduct interviews and meetings with business units (Operations, Finance, Marketing) to understand their challenges and propose viable AI solutions. * Value Demonstration: Create data visualizations and clear presentations to translate technical results into simple, actionable business insights—and sell the AI vision. * Training: Support the creation of basic materials and workshops to educate teams about the potential and practical application of Artificial Intelligence. Requirements and Qualifications: Essential (Senior Level) * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. * Prior experience as a Data Scientist or AI Analyst, with a track record of delivering projects. * Proficiency in Python and core Data Science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn). * Solid knowledge of SQL and manipulation of large datasets. * Understanding of Machine Learning concepts, Statistics, and model evaluation techniques. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage non-technical audiences. Desirable: * Practical experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Streamlit). * Familiarity with Cloud Computing environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Basic knowledge of MLOps and code versioning (Git).
