Support team growth and development We work with cutting-edge technologies and practices to build solutions that enhance content consumption, interaction, and the relationship between our products and users. Here, we handle the development of our digital products—including the G family (G1, GE, Gshow) and Receitas. We strive to make Globo increasingly diverse—in representation and thought—learning from one another and stimulating creativity and innovation. **Work Model**: Hybrid work for regions with Globo offices: RJ, SP, Recife, POA, Brasília, and BH. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your Day-to-Day Will Include:** * Collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams; * Writing clean, maintainable code while applying industry best practices in software development; * Prioritizing the best possible user experience for end users, working closely with UX specialists; * Contributing creative and effective ideas and suggestions; * Supporting team growth by mentoring, training, and providing feedback; * Collaborating across teams, departments, and the company to cultivate a positive and motivating environment; * Continuously growing and developing professionally. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What You Need:** * Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with hands-on experience developing and optimizing code in these languages; * Advanced experience with Android Studio and Gradle-based project configuration; * Mastery of Android SDKs and ability to implement and integrate new SDKs as needed; * Proficiency in XML and Jetpack Compose for building responsive and reusable layouts; * Experience with MVC, MVP, and MVVM architectural patterns; * Understanding of Clean Architecture and Clean Code principles to ensure code maintainability and scalability; * Adherence to SOLID principles in software development; * Experience with Coroutines for asynchronous operations and concurrency management on Android; * Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), using JUnit and Mockito to write unit tests and mocks. Familiarity with tools and practices ensuring code quality and test coverage. * Experience with Pair Programming for problem-solving and mentoring other developers; * Proficiency in Git and GitLab for source code version control; * Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments; * Knowledge of Firebase. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** * Solid understanding and practical skills in algorithms and data structures; * Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile engineering practices; * Knowledge of Objective-C; * Proficiency with version control tools; * Experience with Urban Airship for push notifications and engagement campaigns. **Additional Information** **Why Join Globo:** Come join us in creating stories and technologies together.
