Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a mining company, focused on preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement, with emphasis on safety and operational excellence. We are looking for a **Maintenance Technician (various hierarchical levels)** to work at a large-scale mining company, playing an essential role in equipment maintenance and reliability. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and supporting team development—all while adhering to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. We seek committed professionals with a proactive mindset, strong technical insight, and a results-oriented approach to join a team that values innovation, safety, and continuous development. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure asset availability and reliability. * Conduct disassembly, repair, component replacement, lubrication, reassembly, and functional testing of equipment. * Diagnose failures, interpret mechanical drawings, and propose technical solutions to eliminate anomalies. * Execute energy lockout procedures, zero-potential testing, and dimensional control of parts during interventions. * Prepare technical reports, supervise third-party services, and participate in planning scheduled shutdowns and overhauls. * Propose process and equipment improvements, and perform minor welding, oxy-cutting, and painting tasks as needed. * Provide technical support to less experienced professionals and comply with safety, quality, environmental, and 5S standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** * **Education:** Completed high school.
